Hello, I am Steve Deak, a Michigan licensed Landscape Architect (#1245) and LEED Accredited Professional (AP) with sixteen years of experience. I provide Site Planning + Landscape Architecture services to architects, civil engineers, planners, developers, and individuals. Prior to launching Deak Planning + Design in 2006, I was a principal at Robert Leighton & Associates, an award winning firm based in Ann Arbor. In my own practice I have assisted clients and other consultants in Michigan as well as Ohio, Georgia, and North Carolina

Deak Planning + Design is focused on building strong partnerships with you and your design team. Primarily serving architects in the tradition of great landscape architects, I place equal emphasis on the aesthetic and the pragmatic to establish a synthesis between building + site.
